Sunday Lunch Cruise

Whether it’s a family occasion or a celebration just for two, a Spirit of Cairns lunch cruise is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in paradise. Departing from the Cairns Marlin Marina, this 2.5 hour cruise through sheltered tropical waters  offers the ultimate waterside dinning. As we cruise gently under sail, enjoy the fresh sea breezes and panoramic views from the expansive outdoor decks as we head deep into the heart of Trinity Inlet with its winding tributaries and Admiralty Island.

Keep a look out for wildlife as we cruise by the mangroves and then settle down for lunch in the cool, comfortable air-conditioned interior, with large panoramic windows to ensure you don’t miss the any of the scenery. Our Chefs pride themselves on using the freshest local produce and our lunch menu caters to vegetarians as well as a range of gluten free options. Our menus change regularly to take advantage of seasonal varieties but will always include hot and cold dishes, as well as delicious dessert to tempt.

A fully licensed bar is also available with a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits and tropical cocktails.

When Do We Go

The Spirit of Cairns lunch cruises operates every Sunday and on other special occasions throughout the year. These dates are provided on this website and also on our Facebook page. Prices are per person and and include a 2.5 hour cruise, as well as a hot and cold three-course buffet lunch.

Group Bookings

For groups of 20 or more, please contact us to discuss options. Spirit of Cairns is available for private charter and we can customise the cruise to suit your requirements. Group beverage packages are available. Contact us for locals rates and special events.

What Will You See / Do

Enjoy a fantastic afternoon of calm water cruising and absolute waterfront dining aboard Spirit of Cairns. You can expect a delicious buffet meal and fabulous views. The cruise commences with boarding at Marlin Marina, before taking you on a journey deep into the interior of Trinity Inlet and its winding tributaries. Keep your eyes peeled, you might even see a crocodile. The cruise passes along Cairns’ waterfront and Esplanade precinct, delivering panoramic views of this vibrant, tropical port city.

What Do You Need To Bring / Wear

Yourself and your smile. Tropical casual attire is suggested, with a light jacket for the winter months. Footwear is mandatory, with suitable shoes for boating recommended. Although it’s a calm water cruise, you will find it more comfortable moving around the boat in flat rubber soled shoes. Don’t forget to bring a little cash, EFTPOS or credit card for your bar purchases.
